In the Media Abbie is a gifted artist and once held the rare title of being Britain’s only female ships’ figurehead carver! This unusual career generated wide national press and radio coverage and led to her appearing on GMTV and in a BBC 2 television documentary. Abbie also attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and served as a Captain in the Territorial Army as part of an elite team – the Media Operations Group – which led to her presenting a film documentary for the MOD in the Brunei jungle.
